The National Resistance Front announced an attack on a Taliban checkpoint in Herat, killing and wounding four members of the group

Kabul Times News | The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan announced that its forces killed one Taliban member and wounded three other members of the group on Sunday evening, 26 August 1405, in a targeted operation on a Taliban checkpoint in the Farsi district of Herat province.

According to the front, the operation was carried out at around 10 pm on a checkpoint called "Antenna" and the resistance forces also managed to seize four weapons belonging to the Taliban.

The National Resistance Front has also claimed that no members of its forces or civilians were harmed in the operation.

The front says that it will continue its operations in different parts of Afghanistan with the aim of confronting the Taliban and what it calls "liberating the people and the country from the illegitimate domination of this group."
