Armed robbery at famous Charikar ice cream parlor; thieves steal around 100,000 Afghanis

Local sources in Parwan province say that unknown gunmen attacked a famous ice cream parlor in Charikar city, the provincial capital, last night and stole around 100,000 Afghanis in cash.

The owner of the ice cream parlor, who is a well-known figure in the ice cream parlor community in Parwan, told Kabul Times News that armed attackers entered his restaurant and workplace at night and took all the cash after breaking the cash register.

According to the source, the attackers also beat him and a number of his employees during the robbery. He claims that the attackers looked very similar to Taliban forces in terms of appearance and clothing, but their exact identity has not yet been determined.

The owner of the commercial center says that as a result of this incident, in addition to financial losses, some employees were also injured.

The aforementioned ice cream parlor is one of the well-known centers in Parwan Province and many citizens from different provinces of the country are familiar with it.

As of the publication of this report, local Taliban officials in Parwan Province have not officially commented on this incident, and details about the possible arrest of the perpetrators of this robbery have not been released.

This incident occurs at a time when citizens in some areas of the country are complaining of increased concerns about criminal offenses and armed robberies.
