The Taliban Education Department in Ghor has banned its employees from bringing and using smartphones.

The department has said that all employees must refrain from bringing and using touch and smart phones in the workplace. Previously, such orders have been implemented by the Taliban in some other parts of Afghanistan, which are facing public reactions.

This decision was taken in a situation where the use of new technologies and artificial intelligence in education and offices is rapidly expanding in many countries.
