Herat in Shock; Beheaded Body of Woman Discovered on Silk Road
Herat – Local sources in Herat province have reported the discovery of a beheaded body of a woman on the Silk Road in the city. The incident, which occurred this morning, has caused widespread concern among residents of the area.
According to sources, the body was spotted by a number of passers-by on the side of the road and the matter was reported to security forces. After arriving at the scene, Taliban forces sealed off the area and began initial investigations.
Local Taliban officials have announced that the identity of the victim has not yet been determined and the motive for the murder is still unclear. According to them, investigations are ongoing to identify the perpetrator or perpetrators of the incident.
A security source in Herat told Kabul Times News: “Investigation teams are collecting evidence and following up on leads, and this case is being followed seriously.”
Local residents have expressed concern over the incident and called for a swift investigation and increased security in the area.
