Saha Airlines Launches Direct Flights Between Mazar-e-Sharif and Mashhad
Iranian airline Saha has launched direct flights between the city of Mazar-e-Sharif in northern Afghanistan and the city of Mashhad in Iran.
Company officials announced that 135 passengers were transported between the two cities on the first flight of this route, and these flights are scheduled to continue once a week.
According to officials, the launch of this air route can facilitate the movement of citizens of Afghanistan and Iran and provide a suitable basis for religious, business and medical trips.
The launch of these flights comes at a time when the demand for establishing direct air routes between Afghanistan and regional countries has increased in recent years.
Economic experts also consider the establishment of such flights an important step in strengthening economic and trade relations between Kabul and Tehran.
