Security Council to hold meeting on future of UNAMA mission in Afghanistan
The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) announced in a press release that the UN Security Council will hold a meeting today, Monday, June 15, to review the future of the organization’s mission in Afghanistan.
The current UNAMA mission in Afghanistan ends on June 16, and a decision on whether to extend or continue its activities is expected to be made at the meeting.
