Afghan girl Muqaddas Mohebbi wins first place in Harmony Public Schools Visual Arts Competition in the United States.

Afghan student Muqaddas Mohebbi shined brightly in the Harmony Public Schools Visual Arts Competition, achieving remarkable success in all stages of the competition.

While thousands of talented girls in Afghanistan are deprived of their education and the development of their talents due to restrictions imposed by the Taliban government,
Muqaddas Mohebbi’s success abroad is an example of the high abilities and potential of Afghan girls; girls who, if given the right educational opportunities, can shine in the scientific, cultural and artistic fields on a global level.

In the first stage, her artwork was selected as the best painting at the school level and she managed to win the title of “Winner of the School Painting Category” at Harmony Science Academy Carrollton.

His artwork then advanced to the North Texas District Competition, where he won the title of “North Texas Middle School Painting Winner” among students from various Harmony schools.

His artwork then advanced to the final and national competition, which was attended by students from more than 60 Harmony schools across the state of Texas.

In the final round, Moghaddas Mohebi’s artwork was selected as the best artwork among all participants, and he won the highest title of the competition, “Harmony System-level Grand Champion Artist.”

In addition to his artistic achievements, Moghaddas Mohebi also earned the “AB Honor Roll” honor in the academic field for his outstanding academic achievements and excellent grades.

He also excelled in STEAM and Project-Based Learning (PBL), and his science project was selected as the school’s top project. She was awarded the STEAM Cup for her creativity, innovation, and academic excellence in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

These achievements demonstrate that Afghan girls, given access to education and equal opportunities, have the potential to achieve the highest levels of artistic and cultural achievement.
