Standard futsal field opens in Kapisa; a new step for the growth of youth sports

The sports community of Kapisa province witnessed the opening of a futsal field equipped with world standards in the center of the province today; a field that, according to officials, has been built and equipped with the standards of the National Olympic Committee in the football and futsal sector.

This futsal field is being opened while three futsal fields have already been active in the center of Kapisa and host young people and teenagers who are enthusiastically practicing and holding competitions every day. Many of these athletes pursue their sports activities with the aim of qualifying for national and even international teams.

Sports experts say that the widespread interest of Kapisa youth in football and futsal has made this province one of the important centers for developing sports talents in Afghanistan. In recent years, figures from this province have also been able to shine at the international level.

Among these figures is Nadim Amiri, a football player with Afghan roots from Kapisa province who was born in Germany and has played for prominent European teams including Bayer Leverkusen, Hoffenheim and Mainz in the Bundesliga. Jamshid Naimi, one of the well-known freestylers in Afghan football and futsal, is also considered one of the other figures from this province.

Officials say that the opening of this new field can play an important role in the growth of futsal, discovering new talents and encouraging more young people to play sports. According to them, this sports complex has been built with full facilities, including changing rooms, a sports equipment store, showers for players and a parking lot.

This futsal field is open for athletes from 6 am to 12 am and all necessary facilities are available to users. Officials of the complex have also announced that in the near future, other sports sections such as a volleyball court and recreational facilities including a swimming pool will be built.

According to this report, two futsal competitions between different teams from Kapisa province are scheduled to be held in this field every year; an action that could help further develop this sport.

This futsal field is located in the center of Kapisa province, Rahmankhel area, on the Deh Baba Ali and Rig Rawan roads.
