Report;
The leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan says that the wrong policies of the Islamabad government towards Afghanistan have led to a crisis in relations between Kabul and Islamabad and turned the Taliban into Pakistan's enemy.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman stated in his recent meeting in Karachi that wrong political and security decisions in the past years have paved the way for increased tensions and distrust between the two sides.
He emphasized that supporting pro-government governments in Afghanistan not only did not have the desired results for Pakistan, but also led to the spread of insecurity in the border areas and the escalation of differences between Kabul and Islamabad.
The leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam added that the continuation of these policies has seriously threatened the stability of the region and has brought the relations between the two countries to a sensitive stage.
These statements come at a time when security and political tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan have increased in recent months, and both sides have repeatedly accused each other of destabilizing the region.
