Local sources in Kandahar province report a murder incident in the province in which a woman is accused of shooting her ex-husband to death.
According to the sources, the incident took place on Saturday, July 25, in the second district of Kandahar city.
A local source told Kabul Times News that the accused woman was arrested by Taliban forces after the incident and is currently being interrogated.
According to the source, the woman stated in initial investigations that her ex-husband had divorced her a few years ago, but continued to harass and disturb her after the separation.
As of the time of publication, Taliban officials have not officially commented on the details of the incident, the possible motive for the murder, or the judicial process in the case.
