Ariana Afghan Airlines has announced that a Boeing 767-200 charter aircraft has successfully arrived at Kabul International Airport.

According to the company’s press release, the aircraft has been provided to the company on a six-month charter basis following negotiations and an agreement between Bakhtar Rahman Sharafat, the president of Ariana Afghan Airlines, and officials from a Jordanian airline.
According to Ariana, the aircraft has a capacity to carry about 290 passengers and 25 tons of commercial cargo per flight and is scheduled to begin its regular international flights, mainly on the Kabul-Istanbul and Kabul-Jeddah routes, starting Monday.
The company added that with the start of operations of this aircraft, the country’s air transport capacity will increase, more convenience will be provided to passengers, and the process of transporting commercial goods will also be carried out more quickly and efficiently.
Bakhtar Rahman Sharafat, the head of Ariana Afghan Airlines, considered the arrival of this aircraft an important step towards developing the country's air transport network and emphasized that the company will provide more standard and high-quality air services to passengers and businessmen by utilizing new facilities.
