Massive fire in southern Kabul; several wood shops in Tangi Logar were set on fire.
Kabul – Kabul Times News: A massive fire broke out last evening in the Tangi Logar area (Tangi Logar) in the 8th district of Kabul city, as a result of which several wood shops were burnt down.
According to information from local sources, the flames engulfed a large part of the wood market in the area. Videos from the scene also show the extent of the fire and thick smoke rising from it.
As of the time of writing, the main cause of the fire has not been determined. Also, no official statistics on the amount of financial losses or possible casualties have been released by the responsible institutions.
Officials are expected to provide more details about the cause of the incident and the extent of the damage after the technical investigations are completed.
