Mohammad Rahmati, the director of the Tamadon TV network, and Mohammad Reza Ehsani, an employee of the media outlet, have been arrested by the Taliban.
The director of Tamadon TV and one of the employees of the media outlet were arrested by the Taliban six days ago, and there is no information about their condition yet.
Mohammad Javad Mohseni, the owner of Tamadon TV, wrote on his Facebook page:
Mohammad Rahmati, the director of the Islamic Tamadon TV network, and Mohammad Reza Ehsani, an employee of the media outlet, have been detained and held in solitary confinement for six days without a court order and without any charges being filed.
He called on the relevant authorities to immediately release their colleagues.
Mr. Mohseni also noted Mr. Rahmati’s health condition and added; the health condition of the director of Tamadon TV does not require imprisonment, and any problem that may arise for him will be directly responsible for the authority that issued the arrest warrant.
