Woman killed in Kabul; shot while going to court
Local sources in Kabul reported that a woman was killed in a shooting in the Khair Khana area. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning, 28th of Saur, when the woman was on her way to a court under Taliban control.
According to sources, the woman was named “Badriya” and was originally from Badakhshan province. Reports indicate that she was involved in several legal disputes, including a dispute with a close relative and her ex-husband.
Sources added that after the incident, her body was transferred to the forensic medicine department. It is also said that her lawyer has been arrested by the Taliban.
According to available information, the woman’s close relatives have been called to Kabul from Badakhshan.
This incident comes at a time when four members of a family were killed by unknown individuals in Logar province the previous day.
