Kunduz – Kabul Times News: Local sources in Kunduz province report a rocket attack on the province’s airport.

According to sources, the attack took place this evening, Thursday, August 28, at the same time as Taliban reinforcements were being transferred from Kunduz airport to Badakhshan province.

Sources say that at the time of the attack, the process of sending Taliban reinforcements to Badakhshan was underway, but no further details have been released about the exact target of the attack, the extent of damage or possible casualties.

The Taliban have not officially reacted to the incident as of the time of publication of this report, and no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

However, the Freedom and Resistance Front has previously claimed responsibility for such attacks.
