Lack of information about the status of detainees
According to the information provided, since the arrest, the families of these individuals have been unaware of their fate, health status, and conditions of detention. Reports indicate that at least two of the detainees have previously faced health problems, which has increased concerns.
Reaction and concerns
The statement described these measures as “repressive” and emphasized that such events not only did not weaken the will of the protesters, but also demonstrated the effectiveness of civil society activities, especially the role of women, in the social transformation of Afghanistan.
It also called on the responsible institutions and related organizations to take immediate measures to clarify the status of the detainees and ensure their health and security.
