Sources: A number of anti-Taliban figures have traveled to Pakistan for political consultations

Independent sources say that a number of anti-Taliban political figures, including former Minister of Commerce Sattar Ahmad Ghoriani, former Speaker of the House of Representatives Rauf Ibrahimi, Haji Almas Zahid, Mohammad Alam Saee, Iqbal Safi, Hamidullah Tokhi, former Governor of Zabul, Dr. Mirwais Ghiasi, former Afghan diplomat, and Mohammad Ilyas, have traveled to Pakistan two days ago.

According to these sources, the purpose of this trip is to discuss with a number of Pakistani officials about political developments in Afghanistan, including the formation of a government in exile and the creation of a unified front against the Taliban.

The sources also claim that the members of this delegation have met with the Pakistani army commander and the head of the country's military intelligence agency (ISI) and are waiting to hold meetings with a number of other Pakistani officials.
