Opposition Fronts Claim: Assassination of 37 Former Government Soldiers in the Past Month

The opposition fronts to the Taliban have announced in a press release that in the past month, 37 soldiers of the former Afghan government have been assassinated by Taliban members. According to these fronts, all of these assassinations took place in Kabul and a number of Afghan provinces.

In the most recent case, Abdul Jabbar Ahmadi, a former soldier from Yawan district of Badakhshan province, was shot dead last night in Takhar province after five years of residence in Iran. According to this report, he was shot and killed in a targeted manner.
