Explosion in Kabul’s Fifth District; Sources Report Incident in Company Area

Kabul – Local sources report an explosion in the vicinity of Kabul’s Fifth Security District.

According to information received, the explosion occurred in the Company area this afternoon, Tuesday. According to sources, the explosion occurred among civilians and on the side of the road.

So far, precise details about the type of explosion, the perpetrator(s) of the explosion, as well as the number of possible casualties and injuries have not been released.

Taliban officials have also not officially commented on the incident as of the time of publishing this report.
