Attacking of Taliban forces in Badakhshan; 13 killed, 28 wounded among Taliban.

Last week, the Afghan Liberation Front announced the start of operations against the Taliban.

Local sources in Badakhshan province told Kabul Times News of an armed attack on Taliban forces on the banks of the Kokcha River, located in the Dasht Ashna area.

According to initial information, the attack targeted three military vehicles, resulting in the deaths of 13 Taliban forces and the wounding of 28 others.

The injured have been transferred to nearby health centers for medical treatment.

According to sources, three attackers were also killed during the exchange of fire between the parties. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Local sources also say that security measures in the area have been significantly increased following the incident and Taliban forces have launched a search and rescue operation.

Badakhshan Taliban officials have not commented officially.
