Family clash in Kabul claims three lives; two children among dead

Kabul – Three members of a family were killed and four others were injured in a bloody family clash in Kabul city.

According to local residents, the incident began yesterday after a verbal argument between uncles over children. Witnesses say that the tension between the parties quickly escalated and one of the people involved in the clash pulled out a weapon and opened fire on his family members.

Local sources say that a man and his two young sons lost their lives in the shooting. According to them, the victims were relatives of the attacker.

Four other family members were also seriously injured in the incident and have been taken to hospital for treatment. The health condition of some of the injured is reported to be worrying.

Several hours after the incident, Kabul security officials have yet to officially comment on the details of the incident and the fate of the shooter. Also, no report has been released yet about the arrest of the attacker.
