In a message he posted on the social network "Truth Social", US President Donald Trump announced the progress of possible talks with the Islamic Republic of Iran and announced that he would go to the White House Situation Room to review and make a final decision on this process.

In this message, Trump stated that permanently preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and ensuring the free passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz are the most important aspects of the possible deal. He emphasized that if the deal is finalized, the maritime restrictions imposed by the US will end and the passage of commercial and international ships in the region will be reopened.

The US President also called for the immediate clearing of remaining naval mines in the region's waterways, saying that this measure could be part of a confidence-building process and ensure the security of international shipping.

In another part of his remarks, Trump referred to the issue of Iran's enriched uranium reserves and claimed that these materials, which he said were buried in underground facilities after US military strikes last year, would be collected and destroyed in the future with technical cooperation between the United States, China, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency.

He also announced that, based on the framework of the agreement in question, no financial exchanges would be made between the parties until further notice, and that progress had also been made on other issues under negotiation.

Trump's latest statements come at a time when tensions over Iran's nuclear program, the security of the Strait of Hormuz and regional developments remain among the most important foreign policy issues in the Middle East. So far, officials from the Islamic Republic of Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency have not responded officially to the details raised by the US President.
