As a result of these events, reports of intense air defense activity have been published in Dubai and Sharjah, indicating a state of security alert in parts of the country.
In Dubai, residents of the Jumeirah area have reported hearing several explosions, although official details about the nature of these explosions have not yet been released.
Reports also indicate that a fire broke out in the Fujairah oil industrial zone, which is said to have occurred following the attacks.
Following several rocket attacks, there have been reports of increased verbal tensions and threats between the parties.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that US refueling planes are heading towards Iran.
Israel has also raised its security alert level to the highest level.
