32-Year-Old Woman Dies After Being Tortured by Husband in Ghor

A 32-year-old woman has died in the Taywara district of Ghor province following a severe beating and torture at the hands of her husband.

Local sources report that the woman, named Nouria, was tortured and beaten by her husband—in the presence of her children—about 14 days ago in the village of Tangi Sarpanak, Taywara district; she subsequently succumbed to her severe injuries.

According to the sources, Nouria's husband even used a heated iron rod to torture her. Videos of her body obtained by the media reveal signs of bruising and severe injuries across various parts of her body.

Sources add that Nouria died following this ordeal, and her family is now in mourning. No further details regarding the motive for the killing or the fate of her husband are currently available.
