Shabana Basij-Rasikh—a women's rights activist, co-founder, and president of the School of Leadership, Afghanistan (SOLA)—has been named to *TIME* magazine’s TIME100 Next list. This list highlights 100 emerging and influential figures shaping the future.

*TIME* magazine has commended her work in educating Afghan girls and the continued operation of SOLA outside of Afghanistan. According to the report, the educational institution reaches more than 43,000 students through both in-person and online programs.
