The United Nations has confirmed 55 attacks by anti-Taliban forces.

In his latest report, the UN Secretary-General stated that armed groups opposed to the Taliban claimed responsibility for 88 attacks across 21 Afghan provinces between May 1 and the end of July.

According to the report, the UN has independently verified 55 of these attacks; however, no further details regarding the remaining incidents or casualty figures were provided.

Statistics indicate that armed activity by anti-Taliban forces has spread across the country—a trend that calls into question the Taliban's claims of complete security control.
