New Taliban Restrictions; Women Without a Mahram Banned from Sitting in the Front Seat of Taxis

The Taliban’s Directorate for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice has announced that from now on, women without a Mahram will be prohibited from riding in the front seat of taxis.

The department’s statement also stated that men and women were observed to be present at some public recreation areas in Sar-e-Pul Province, including Anguish Shah Station.
