The gruesome murder of a 12-year-old girl in Badakhshan; The shocking dimensions of a mysterious crime in Raghistan

Local sources in Badakhshan province report a shocking murder incident in Raghistan district; an event that has raised widespread concerns in the community.

Based on initial information, the incident occurred on 10/2/1405, at around 1:00 PM, in the vicinity of Qeshlaq Dehga in Khaldsk village, Raghistan district. The victim of the incident is Bibi Khadija, a 12-year-old girl and the daughter of Noor Mohammad.

According to sources, the child had left home to get drinking water, but after about half an hour, her body was discovered by her family members about 14 meters from a water spring in a secluded area.

Initial evidence suggests that the incident may have been sexually motivated; however, the exact motive and full details of the crime are still unclear and require further investigation. Sources also confirmed that the victim’s body was found with severe signs of violence, including a severed head.

Local authorities have announced that a suspect from another area has been arrested in connection with the case. However, no further information has been released on the identity of the arrested person or the results of the investigation.

Local residents have expressed deep concern about the incident and called for an immediate, transparent and fair investigation into the case.
