Maryam Amiri, an Afghan writer and the author of the book “An Ending for Another Beginning”, has achieved a new milestone by being included in the list of the world’s top 100 women entrepreneurs.
Kabul Times News: Maryam Amiri has previously received numerous international awards and achievements, including the Principal Leadership Award in Washington, D.C. in 2026, the Hazara Women Empowerment Council Award in the United Kingdom, and selection as one of the leaders of the “Changemakers 2025” program in Thailand.
She has also received the Whetstone Legislative Advocacy Fellowship and benefited from four international scholarships, including a scholarship from the University of Oxford. In addition, she has been nominated for a leadership academy in Poland.
Through her extensive work in writing, education, and the empowerment of girls, she is recognized as one of the influential figures on the international stage.
Following the fall of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the return of the Taliban to power, thousands of Afghan women activists were evacuated from the country with the support of European and American governments and began new lives as refugees abroad. In the past four years, Afghan women have been recognized as among the most active and influential women globally.
